Ingredients
1 cup organic, full fat coconut milk (canned, BPA-free, gum-free)
1 cup purified, hot water
1 tbsp. fresh turmeric
1/2 tsp. fresh ginger
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. Ceylon cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cardamom
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Vanilla stevia drops to taste
Directions
1) Blend ingredients in Vitamix or other high-speed blender until ingredients are thoroughly combined and golden milk is steaming when blender lid is removed, about 3 minutes.
2) Adjust stevia to taste.
3) If your blender doesn’t heat golden milk sufficiently, transfer to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat.
4) Simmer for 2-3 minutes, turn off heat and pour golden milk into two mugs.
5) Serve and enjoy!
Serves 2.
Flavor wise this was great! It was the most turmeric rich recipe I’ve seen. However i think the addition of that many spices made half of it undrinkable because it was too thick even after i blended it. Any suggestions?
